About us

Villa Marisa is a “casa cantoniera” built up in the early 20th century. Originally it was easily identified by the classical red colored walls and by the mileage inscription. “Cantoniera” derives from the so called “cantonieri”, the workers who were the maintenance man of the routes and of the railways. The old railway line is still visible and it has been transformed into a pedestrian area where the guests can have a walk or can jog. It is called “Lungomare Europa” and connects Cogoleto to Varazze
